I would like to begin this little message with a nice friendly hello to all you other forum posties. As the weight of bordom threatens to crush my sanity at any moment now i would like to take this opportunity to reflect on life genrally and wonder the meaning of it all. For many years i have thought life to be little more than a fluke, a freak occurance, something that should never have happened. Life seemed to me to be pointless, basicly i thought it was that you were born, you kept your head down, and then you died-if you were lucky. Those fortunate to find some sort of happiness i considered to be deciving themselves, or at best dillusional. For i thought that with all the pain, suffering, destruction and misery encountered by us, in our daily lifes or otherwise, that life must be designed to be evil. For many a year i tried to find answers to the many questions in my head, why could this have happened, why are such things allowed, why was all this here in the first place, what is the meaning of it all??? But in my prolonged state of unemployment i have come to realise a few things. Firstly that the world is but all hate, death and destruction-for on a recent cycle ride i was cut off from all of this, and surrounded by countryside and nature. Things of pure beauty, things that no human could ever make or hope to emulate, things we could not understand the nature of their existance or purpose. Despite my known reservations towards religion, a few of you know a couple of my bizarre theories, i began to wonder if there was some higher force at work, something that made all this. You see, if something created all this beauty, then something made all this destruction. I understand now that you cant have love without hate, good without evil, and an England football team (hope) without disapointment. I now am looking for spiritual fullfillment, and i beleive i am on the right path. In a drunken stupor the other weekend i asked a few of my friends for assistance in my job predicament in various ways. This seems to have worked for along came a message from another friend who is helping me get a job at this very moment-and he hadnt even known about my situation. I just want to apologise to all i have offended on the subject of belief and hope that you can forgive me. I would also like to say thank you. Michael. |

Features of the forum (just copied and pased from the help system) - it's quite a bit to read but wll give you most of the forums main features! I can't wait to start using it! What can this forum do? This forum has many community-oriented features that you can utilise, especially if you've properly registered as a user. You have access to your own user centre, where you can edit your profile, subscribe to subtopics and newsletters and communicate privately with other users. There is also the main discussion area where you can browse through categorised messages, post subtopics and replies, vote in polls, participate in chat sessions, search and summarise messages and do lots of other things! Can you tell me more about private messaging? Private messaging is a way of communicating with other users on the board without your messages being publicly displayed. In many cases, it can be a substitute for e-mail; keeping your forum related messages together, and hiding your e-mail address from other members. The little white Fucker broke down on Pembury road, with about 50 cars waiting behind me, how embarrasing, not to mention expensive. In other news I nearly burnt down my neighbours flat today when I failed to notice that the toaster wasn't ejecting the bread, and was in fact incinerating it. I was just thinking how hungry I was, then turned round to see that there was this 2 foot flame coming out of the toaster. So we started beating it with wet towels until it went out, and then felt a bit unfullfilled because we'd forgotten to use the fire extinguisher, so started blasting it with that for a bit to make up for it. Oh well I spose these things happen, and I'll see everyone at the Guniea Butt (or however you spell that f***ing place) 2moro for Tob's leaving thing. |

I failed my economics exam today, so the current stats r as follows: Costs so far = Roughly £2500 Modules passed = 2 (out of 4) Lowest exam score = 4% Fallen out with = No one (yet) Body count = Just the toaster and the car so far Number of people offended by me while under the influence of alchol = 3 Oh well not bad for a whole semester spent in bed. well its very very late,and yep im posting on the forum.....thats right everyone,im back in cambridge with my free internet access in my room!!well unfortunately tonight was a complete non-event,went to eves room to drink,then out to club,but both fez and cindies had massive queues,so then got a cheeseburger from the van of death and i went back to lenis room and we chatted for ages while she finished unpacking!i have lotsa work to do (all of my hol work,thats right, i did none of my essays/harmony stuff over christmas!!i have a meetin with my dos tomoz so i have to tell him how hard i worked over cmas,hmm.......)plus i have a bit left to sort out in my room.and i wanted to go to woolies tomoz and buy fairy lights! well id better go to bed now,leni and emma have their meetin with their dos tomoz and its really near my room,so theyve said theyll wake me up before 9 when they pass,how nice it is to have friends eh??!!! nite nite then ppl, beccaxxxxxxx ps dos=director of studies,the guy that is in charge of checkin that i do all my work and that my supervisors report to about me! |

I took the day off school to do my Art Personal Study as it has to be in next monday, and I've only just got up (I had a weel needed (not nessaceraly Deserved) lie in) which was very nice I'm feeling more awake than ever!!!, I've also got a Business exam on Friday (best do some revison as well today then, something that is very new to me :-)), and an IT exam on thursday of next week, I've also got an interview for a University! I will be coming down to Kent on the 28th December and will be staying until the 3rd January so that's why New Years Eve has to be the best ever. I have never been so close to death!Not through anything interesting like sexual exhaustion through my wife, but through the dreaded w word. Ive never known it would be so hard! It all started two weeks ago, i was just walking down the road, on a pleasant autumn day,and Gary came running upto me, he looked as though he had seen a ghost. It took a while to get it out of him but eventually he informed me of the disaster that was to ruin my life. We were required to go to this specific room called the red room or something(sounded like some kind of torture place, where they would swap our heads round with our legs or something, i would have been so lucky.) A few of our friends had been there a few weeks before, but noone had heard from them since, i had been worried about them but now it all seemed to make sense, they never made it out alive. If only i had known. I would have never been sucker punched into going in. Gary had heard the stories too, hence why he was so frightened. I had to put a brave face on to get him through it. I knew we had to go in, our future depended on it, the truth was i never really had a weak bladder at all, thats just what i told gary on our way to that room, really i had to make three different pairs of pants out of the loo paper, but i couldnt show him my fear, he needed me to get him through it. We made it outside the room and the sounds were eerie, but we couldnt make anything out. The door was in front of us and lay slightly ajar, so i pushed gary through it, that may have been harsh but i decided i was more valuable than him. i waited a few seconds before i followed him in, it was dark, real dark, smelled real bad, as if dead carcasses had been laying in there for weeks. It was a big room, bigger than it looked from the outside, there were chairs everywhere, as if they were ready to perform operations or something, with small tables next to each one. Felt like we had entered our very own horror film. Then the lights went on and people crowded us in, it got real cramped, i thought we had a hillsborough disaster on our hands. Soon though it calmed down and an authoritive attractive woman came in and beckoned us to sit down( Bit like a dream i had the night before). It was worse than i ever imagined. The lights went out and the women started to talk to us all and play video clips about animation, i looked around and everyone was so calm. Me and Gary were sweating bucket loads we did'nt know what was going on, were they trying to brain wash us?Should we shut our eyes? We didnt know what to do. But then after suffering for two straight hours, she hit us with it. We were to do an animation project, to be in in two weeks. There was outrage, i have never seen anything like it, suddenly everyone woke up and ran for the door, me and Gary followed in the panic, i fell but managed to roll to one side before gary dragged me back to my feet. That was the last i saw of him. I lost him when we got outside of the room, he was a nice guy, one of the best i ever knew. I had to spend the next two weeks in care, suffering doing this project thing. But dont despair i made it through and im back, still a bit shaken, but recovering well, later someone was to tell me what i had just been through, it was called a lecture. Like one of the bodices that adorned the stage, the show is full to bursting with song, dance, audience participation, mistaken identity, a paper thin plot and cross-dressing. But what makes it special is that amongst all the traditional elements of panto is something very different. Namely a tight script from Day Macaskill and Ed Weeks that I found to be really - and not just groaningly - funny. Another highlight was the musical numbers. Apart from the well-drilled and exuberant song and dance routines, the music was a refreshing change from the usual pantomime fare of the latest chart tunes. The original compositions from composer Ed Weeks (again!) were suitably rousing and cleverly seemed to nod towards and satirise the big West End hits of the past few years. Les Mis was the most obvious but towards the end, Francois in his mask, singing to his angel, bore a spooky resemblance to the Phantom - albeit without the chandelier! It is therefore all credit to a strong and talented cast that they worked well together and pressed on through their difficulties with enthusiasm and vigour to ensure that the production was a success, and provide a hugely enjoyable and entertaining evening for their audience. wow hope ur all impressed!! cya all very soon, beccaxxxxxxxx |

well i had my panto which was again really good,then went for a drink in the adc bar at the theatre, then went to toxic8,one of cambridge's finer clubs.....well actually it wasnt too bad!!a few too many drunk and lairy men for my liking :{ but never mind.oh and i was rowing ALL AFTERNOON cos they mucked the times up:( we won our first race (ok if im honest the other boat dropped out but it still counts as a win), but then lost the next one.i was soooo cold cos we basically just sat around for 3 and a bit hours waiting to race, then raced for 600m,then had to row back to the boathouse in the dark, and didnt get back til 5.30 :( but woohoo its the weekend,and my family are coming to watch my panto tomoz yay!!!except fat boy,the arsewipe has to work.pathetic excuse i think he should pull a sicky cos its worth it,hes really gonna miss out!(as are most of u in fact)anyhow i should really try and get some sleep,mind u yet again im not particularly tired.oh well.........nite nite!! beccaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ps 140 drawings of virtually the same thing each time?gutted dibs :P !!!!!! |

Well im having such a cool time here, way too busy but i love it!im doing rowing, footy, + assistant directing this years footlights panto-the scarlet pimpernel(20th nov-1st dec,u guys should all come and c it its gonna be sooooo good!) and then of course theres our drinking society-the newnham bunnies(and yes we wear the ears and short skirts and knee-highs for those who have them!!)10 of us girls get invited by blokes drinking societies for formals at other colleges!its loadsa fun, and were invited back out tonight yet again by the 'trinity tossers'.hmm...... interesting stories, umm......well over the past 3 days ive had 4 5 and 6 hours sleep respectively, ok thats not interesting.ummmm.......been out way too much, riding back drunk is the funniest thing ever u shud try it!(or not as its possibly illegal and highly dangerous).....discovered fruit pastel cocktails and not sure how ill survive back in pwood without them :{....or cheap drinks for that matter....or decent clubs........or evenings finishing at 11 once the pubs shut instead of staying out much later and even then gatecrashing someone else room party who we dont know......or going to ppls rooms to sort out nites out instead of ringing / texting......my pianos getting fixed tomorrow :d......just been mentioned about 50 times on the uni radio station,embarrassing yet funny :)........thats enough for now i think!!! cu u all in 3 weeks (hahaha-have i mentioned my term ends on the 30th nov???) beccaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx :p |

Hi guys .. Matt just told me how everyone was using this forum now to stay in touch, seems like a few people have logged on although there are no signs of Laj, Andy or Toby .. Ive mailed Laj and Andy, there both doing well .. Toby seems to be spending all of his time getting drunk at the moment, but i guess that is what uni is all about really... Still at West Kent studying beauty therapy .. Start working on real live clients monday so am a little nervous, just hope i dont ruin anyones skin .. have learnt a proper relaxing facial/head massage that might be useful for all you studiers at uni .. I get qualified as of November 28th.. But thats only in facials ... :D Start learning make-up application in december.. Manicure and pedicure in february and then waxing march/april time followed by eyelash tinting at the end of the educational year .. its going so fast .. Hows everyone's courses going ???
